The commemorative coin is dedicated to a special kind of forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which includes special purpose units and units of information and psychological special operations, staffed by specialists with special capabilities in the fields of intelligence, military support for the performance of complex, dangerous, sometimes politically sensitive operations.

 Specialists of a special type of forces of the Armed Forces perform the following tasks: measures of the legal regime of martial law and state of emergency, military informational and psychological operations, protection of the lives of citizens and state-owned objects outside Ukraine, participation in the fight against illegal arms trafficking, organization and support of the actions of the resistance movement,  the fight against terrorism and piracy, the safety of maritime shipping of Ukraine, international military cooperation, etc.

 The slogan of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was chosen as the combat slogan of Svyatoslav the Brave - "I'm coming to you!", which in modern realities has become a symbol of the valor, courage and nobility of soldiers who are ready to defend the Motherland.
