The Krugerrand is one of the most traded coins in the world. First minted in 1967, it features the national symbol of South Africa – the Springbok antelope on the reverse side.

The obverse side of the Krugerrand features Paul Kruger, the last president of the South African Republic.

The Silver 1oz Krugerrand made its debut as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Krugerrand gold coin. Since it was launched in 2018, it has become as popular as long-term world leaders such as the Silver Canadian Maple, the Silver Britannia and the China Silver Panda.
